Buildercost - total estimating solution
Buildercost is a flexible and powerful enough estimating
solution to estimate residential jobs of any size, from large projects
like apartment complexes and new home subdivisions, to one-of-a-kind,
million-dollar or custom homes. The software is Australian written and
developed. You'll finish your estimates in less time, with less effort
and fewer mistakes than with any estimating method you've ever used
before.
Cadestimator handles the complete range of building construction costs.
You can use it to estimate hard construction costs, site development
costs and all types of "soft costs" such as building permits, portable
long service, contingencies, cost escalation, risk allowances, overhead
and profit
A big advantage of Cadestimator is that it ships with a large range of
Pre-A defined Assemblies, and price list which are designed for
Australian residential builders or contractors. This allows you to
easily take off multiple items in a single pass, the Assemblies are made
up of price list items which can be used in an Assembly or as a single
item. specifically for the Australian construction industry
Are you framing a custom home, perhaps* Don't worry about counting up
every single nail or measuring the total lineal meterage of timber
you'll need. With the Timber Framing Option all you have to do is type
in some rudimentary dimensions, and the Framer takes care of the rest.
CAD import facility it is quite unique and it is also simple to import
data direct from a CAD package, Cadestimator has been set up so data can
be imported direct for Envisioneer, Cadsoft Build and APDesign. or any
program that you can export a comma delimited file. One of the error
checking features of Cadestimator is it will display any item that
doesn't have a corresponding code, this important feature prevents the
program from producing an estimate without all the items assigned.
Once a non coded item is detected you can simply look up and assign a
code to that item. Today our software is being used by many building
companies and many of these companies would be only to pleased to
provide a reference for the program.
